Overview

Dr. Mirmazloum also conducts research on plant stress physiology, scrutinizing the distinct responses of horticultural crops to abiotic stresses while studying the molecular mechanisms underlying plant stress tolerance.

Currently, he serves as a research fellow in the Plant Physiology and Plant Ecology department at the Institute of Agronomy, actively contributing to academic education and training by supervising MSc and PhD students.

Dr. Nguyen Le Phuong Lien is a researcher at the Institute of Food Science and Technology. Her primary research focus is on postharvest technology, with a particular emphasis on the quality assessment and shelf life evaluation of fruits and vegetables. Her research is focused on the implementation of 1-MCP, packaging, and edible coating in the context of preserving the quality of produce. Additionally, she has demonstrated a keen interest in the field of agricultural product quality monitoring, employing non-destructive techniques such as acoustic, NIR, and chlorophyll fluorescence analysis. The list of investigated commodities comprises asparagus, apple, pear, banana, cherry, egg, melon, and plum.
