Overview

Dr. Tamás Novák's research area is particle and high energy physics. He investigates Bose-Einstein correlations with Lévy-stable functions in order to reconstruct the space-time structure of the emission function. He applied the Lévy-expansion method on PHENIX experimental data. He is also a member of the Hungarian-Swedish research group which has discovered the Odderon with the help of extensive analysis of experimental data from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland. They have been studying the properties of this mythical particle.
